How long have you been in business?
On August 22, 1639, The First Church of Christ in Milford, now the First United Church of Christ (Congregational) was organized in New Haven by The Reverend Peter Prudden and a company of fifteen families. You can find out more about our history on our website. www.firstchurchofmilford.org

How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have two locations, 34 West Main Street is our main church and sanctuary where the offices, Sunday school rooms and Fellowship Hall are also located. 18 West Main Street is our Chapel and the Plymouth Building hall.

From I-95 North:
Take Exit 37. At the end of the exit, take a right onto High Street. Go straight at the light at the intersection of Boston Post Road. Continue on High Street to West Main Street. Turn left onto West Main, and the church is on the left at 34 West Main. The parking lot is on the left 100 feet before the church.
From I-95 South:
Take Exit 39A. The exit ramp empties onto Boston Post Road heading south. Bear to the right at the first light to stay on Boston Post Road. At the third light, turn left onto North Street (you'll see M&M Farm Market on the right). Travel on North Street to the stop sign. Take a right onto Main Street and go over the bridge. The church is on your right. To get to the parking lot, continue straight 100 feet past the church and you'll see it on the right.
From the Wilbur Cross/Merritt Parkway, northbound or southbound:
Take Exit 54 onto the Milford Connector. Follow the connector to its end. Turn right onto the Boston Post Road. Take an immediate right onto West River Street (by the Amoco station). Follow West River Street to the first stop sign; take a right. The church is straight ahead, about four blocks. To get to the parking lot, drive alongside the right of the church and take a right onto West Main Street. After passing one house, you'll see the lot on the right.

Office hours are 10-3 M-F
Sunday Services: Chapel 8 am
Sanctuary, 10 am during the year, 9:30 am Father's Day through Labor Day.
Sunday School 10 am during the regular program year and Summer Kids Program at 9:30 am during the summer months.
