How long have you been in business?
I have been in Financial Services for over 25 years. CLA Wealth Strategies, LLC is my own business and a response to working for firms that had only their own agenda in mind, not my client's. I believe the client should be the only one I have to account to and CLA Wealth Strategies,LLC has the ability to do just that by accessing almost any Financial product FBO my clients. Securities are offered through LPL Financial, Member FINRA/SIPC An Independant brokerage firm.
What is your primary product or service?
Through LPL Financial, my Broker/Dealer I have access to an almost unlimited supply of investments and services to help accomplish the goals of my clients. Presently, my practice supports the lifestyle of dozens of clients through income distribution techniques. This has become the major part of my practice. Current interest rates and the insecurity of pensions have made generating income during retirement difficult. Through my experience and thoughtful planning I can provide the income my clients need.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Where I am as a Financial Advisor is the result of a transition from Insurance Agent to Estate and Business Planning Specialist to a fully Licensed Broker. Through the realization that individuals of means seldom make accurate and complete plans, I have become adept in exposing the needs they have missed and providing the solutions to those needs. Some of these needs may require additional professionals to complete and I am proud of the associations and resources I have in both New Haven and Fairfield counties.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
AS an Independant Broker and Agent I don't have a product to sell. I am wholly invested in discovering my client's needs and prescribing the solution. I chose LPL Financial as my Broker/Dealer because of the wide range products available through almost any Financial Company. I am proud of the fact that my business is ahead of the curve in it's transition away from Commission based or Transactional business. Utilizing the many and varied "Managed" accounts offered through LPL Financial, gives my clients the most transparent interaction possible as well as the best value.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Only one and it will stay that way for the forseeable future.

What type of payments do you accept?
While I still have some brokerage accounts which pay by transaction, almost all of my new accounts pay a management fee based on total assets invested.

Greater New Haven and Fairfield counties.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
This is my own firm.
What are your hours of operation?
Office hours are generally 9 to 4:30 but Appointments take me out of the office regularly. After hour and Saturday meetings are quite normal but by appointment only.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That there is no "selling" involved in our relationship, simply a solution to your concern.
