This is the highest residential appraisal designation acknowledged in the country. He is a certified general appraiser and holds Certifcates of Professional Development in Valuation for Litigation and Sustainable Buildings from the Appraisal Institute.
The appraisers at CASTIGLIA ASSOCIATES, INC. are all certified by the State of Connecticut to perform residential and commercial real estate valuations. We have also been expert witnesses in the State of Connecticut courts for numerous attorneys and law firms throughout the country.

Appraisal of residential and commercial property for financing, trust generation, assessment appeals, pre-purchase appraisals, probate, foreclosure, bankruptcy, financial planning, estate planning, divorce and litagation support.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started as a realtor but did not like dragging people around to see homes. I started taking appraisal classes while still in college. I had a job as a residential appraiser before I graduated. I eventually bought the firm in 2004. I attained my commercial appraisal certification in 2010.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I travel the country when I can taking advanced appraisal education courses and qualifications are extensive.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
There is an office in Stamford and Shelton, CT
